MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF PATORANKING

Hi Peeps! Have you read my previous post Patoranking Concert In Gothenburg ? if you haven’t, make sure to read it before reading this one, as it will give you a better understanding of my first impression on him.

According to what I’d Heard, the 31st of march was not the best day for both the organizer and Patoranking. One of his crew members had to return back home and he wasn’t in the mood for a show. It was his first time to Europé on tour and the person who had experience with tours was going back home. He was left alone and like any other human being, you can imagine how nerve racking that can be. To add to it, when he came to the event location, he was attacked by another artist who was jealous of how much attention he was getting. The Artist’s jealousy really got the best of him, he was really disrespectful to Patoranking, which got me curious. I was worried about how that little event could change the whole atmosphere of the Concert but at thesame time i was curious to see how he was going to react. It’s said,

“A true test of character isn’t how you are on your best days but how you act on your worst Days”.

Patoranking’s reaction to the artist was mind blowing, he kept calm and tried to calm the situation with the artist himself. He was apologising to the artist for any form of disrespect he encountered because of him, even after the local Swedish artist had told hime to fuck off. He later confronted the organizer and told him that next time no artist should be left behind no matter how small or big they are. He told the organizer that next time other’s shouldn’t be left at the event location unattended, while others are getting special treatment in the hotel. Though that was not the situation or course of the Artist misbehaviour, it showed how humble and down to earth Patoranking was.

Character is how you treat those who can do nothing for you.

To top it up, Patoranking is the first artist, since  i started working with artist in this Entertainment industry to come to an after party and mingle with his fans. My respect for this guy sky rocket when i saw him sitting against the wall, chatting with fans, taking Pictures etc like any other regular dude. Unlike many other artist who like to act posh and go back to their hotel and call it a day, patoranking was different. Some will argue that, it depends on what they’re doing the next day, the kind of fans etc, Patoranking was performing in Copenhagen, Denmark the following day and no fan did anything stupid towards him, they loved him more for showing them that level of respect. This made an impression of a humble, down to earth and simple Patoranking on me.

Read my next post Patoranking Concert in Copenhagen for a Review of the Copenhagen Concert and also a follow up on Patoranking as a Character. Untill then,

Laugh when you can, apologise when you should and let go of what you can’t change.

xoxo
